Born in Philadelphia PA, Andrew Hart grew up in Wayne PA. He went to college at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Majoring in political science, he graduated Magna Cum Laude as well as Phi Beta Kappa. He then went to the University of South Carolina where he received a Masters in Political Science. Being awarded a Fulbright grant, Andrew studied at McGill University in Montreal. He then was hired by Systems and Computer Technology as an Account Manager for five years working with clients in Eastern Canada.
Feeling the call from God, he went to Princeton Seminary after serving as an Elder for Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church where he served as a youth advisor and on singles council. While at Princeton, he received one unit of CPE and completed two church internships. He served churches in Lancaster, SC, Long Island, NY, and Chambersburg, PA. He also finished his DMin from Columbia Theological Seminary with a focus on PTSD and Spirituality. Furthermore, he published several articles, chapters in several books, book reviews, and a book entitled, The Same God, Different Pulpits.
In addition to his service to this wonderful congregation, he started a team called Franklin County Veteran Connection which helps veterans. He also is asked to speak at the US Army War College, Institute for Retired Persons, Wilson College, and for other various local groups. He has four children, is married to Dr. Anna Kent, and enjoys basketball, history, and hunting. He looks forward to meeting you!
