Questions About Giving
At Falling Spring, we believe generosity is a privilege. Everything belongs to God, and God is a Giver! He sent His Son to give us life and breath and freedom. To set us free from our chains, from our bondage, from what enslaved us. To deliver us out of death and into life. To give us Himself. So in response to all He’s done we say, “God I want the world to know about Jesus. All I have is Yours!”
So the prayer is that God would capture our hearts today. Awaken us to the fact that He loves us and cares for us. There’s nothing we have that He doesn’t already have a million times over. And there’s nothing we have that didn’t come from Him first. Then, we will have this great privilege and ability to respond by joining Him with our time, our energy, our gifts, our opportunities, and our money. We have this opportunity to lean into the things that last forever and sowing into what God is doing here and beyond.
All throughout the Bible, we learn that giving generously is not a chore, but a blessing!
“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
Malachi 3:10
SHORT VERSION: Both Church Center and Vanco provide safe and secure ways to give online. In June of 2024, Falling Spring transitioned to Church Center to manage giving records, and this will provide the smoothest online giving experience into the future.
DETAILED VERSION:
Donation management refers to the software we use to record donations and generate giving statements.
Payment processor is the service which manages the logistics of receiving donations via credit/debit cards and bank (ACH) payments.
Before June, 2024, ACS Realm was our donation management software, and Vanco was our payment processor.
June, 2024 and onward, Church Center is our donation management software, and both Stripe, which integrates with Church Center, and Vanco are our payment processors.
Why did we switch to Church Center to manage giving?
This was the final phase of transitioning our church management software from Realm to Church Center. We have found Church Center to be far better and easier to use.
Why should I switch from Vanco to Church Center (and Stripe) for online giving?
CC provides one, integrated system for secure giving. The benefits of giving directly in Church Center are that your donation is automatically added to your giving history and will reduce administrative tasks in the office.
Why do we still use Vanco?
During this transition, we don’t want to force anyone to change the way they give online. We plan to keep using Vanco for a season, to give donors time to ask questions and (hopefully) switch to giving via Church Center.

Yes. In many ways giving online is safer than writing a check because an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen. The security of the system is continually managed by our payment processors, Stripe and Vanco.
Your information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions any time prior to the date they are scheduled.
On the Church Center giving page, under “Frequency,” click “Regularly” in the dropdown and then enter your desired schedule in the fields below.
- Sign in to your profile on our Church Center app or website. (If you need help signing in, please click HERE.)
